CD Pro takes too long to get posts approved... need to be quicker, automated.

As someone who posts daily content that requires responses that day, I can't wait up to 24 hours for a post to be approved.

As an example...

Daily offers... where you have 24 hours to get a special price or deal.
XXX Of The Day (where XXX is a daily feature like Video Of The Day)

Such content becomes irrelevant the next day, yes it's still there for all to see, but links / offers will expire.

Now think, a deal / post goes active at 12am, and gets approved at 10pm... that's just 2 hours of opportunity, when it could have got almost 24 hours!

Can CD Pro be redesigned to automatically approve posts?
Can a 'report abuse' option be added, and users rewarded for correct reporting?

This way, advertisers can get fast responses, and users can be rewarded if they report successfully.
You could also penalise people who post stuff that goes against your policies, and anyone who makes a false report.

Thanks Rowena.

It really needs changing. When posts have a time limit of "end of the day", you really can't wait up to 24 hours for approval.

I had to cancel the post because it wasn't approved by midday (12 noon UK time).

Then it never got cancelled.

It got approved at around 3.30pm.

Then the comments were mainly one word or gibberish. Even the music artist being promoted questioned them! Check the attached.

I flagged those comments.

Still now, 7.15pm, the flags haven't been dealt with, so no new comments.

And at midnight, I want to advertise a new post.

I can't wait for approval, so not going to even try.

But if it was automatic... approval would be instant, flags would get acted upon automatically, and you get the right number of good posts to make advertising worthwhile.

And then you get more advertisers!!! :-)
